This Natural Park is the largest protected area in the Marches Region with 9.150 hectares allocated to it. The park was discovered in 1971 by the Ancona Speleological Group. It is a spectacular spot with three different routes to tour the park, the first being the touristic, which takes about 1 hour, the second the speleological - easy, which is an easy walk and is about 2 hours long, and finally there is the speleological difficult, which is a more robust walk and would take about 3 hours.
The park features the Gola della Rossa, which is the most beautiful mountain gorge and the Grotte di Frasassi, which extends for more than 18km inside the Gola della Rossa Natural Park.

This church is one of the places of worship with the highest attendance and reputation both in Italy and Europe. According to legend, the church is situated on the spot where the Holy House from Nazareth rested after the miraculous translation, Monte Podo. The Sanctuary of the Holy House is not only a place of worship, but is also a city of art, with works by Luca Signorelli, Melozzo da Forli, Federico Zuccari and Pomarancio and include several treasures which include valuable jewels, such as a precious silver Crucifix.

This museum is housed in the Ducal Palace and is one of the districts acclaimed archeological museums and holds an outstanding collection of Roman Bronzes, Greek vases and several works by artists including Bramante, Paolo Uccello, Leon Battista Alberti, Piero della Francesca and Raphael.

This museum is located at Museo della Carta e della Filigrana. This museum shows everything in regard to the ancient craft of papermaking and engraving of watermarks. This is where the watermark that is used on banknotes was invented and the secret has been guarded and handed down from father to son for generations. There are several shops around where you can buy valuable paper.

This cathedral is built on the ruins of an ancient classic temple, which is believed to by the site of a Roman Temple to Venus. The framework of the cathedral forms the shape of a Greek cross, and was constructed during the 11th century. The Saint Ciriaco Cathedral is located on the Guasco hill and has a wonderful view of the city and the port.

The Velvet Beach is located on the North coast of Ancona, and is characterized by flat, wide sandy beaches, which make it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun. There is a gradual deepening of the sea, and because of this, families with children appreciate the beach.

This is the house where Raphael was born in 1483, and grew up with his remarkable father, the painter, poet and teacher, Giovanni Santi. It is said that father and son used to sit outside on a big rock outside their house and prepare painting colours together. The house is a museum, which is filled with paintings, manuscripts and original furnishings from the 15th century.

This museum is located at Museo della Fisarmonica. This museum focuses on the handicrafts of some of the historical figures such as the reed makes and the rarer bellows maker.
There are still several workshops where this musical instrument is still lovingly manufactured.
