Almond Villa is situated in Hisaronu near Olu Deniz. It has has 4 good sized air conditioned Bedrooms (2 double & 2 twin) with balconies, 3 Bathrooms (1 en-suite). The Lounge area has fireplace and seating suitable for 8 people. Dining area has seating suitable for 8 people. Kitchen area has hob, oven, fridgefeezer, washing machine and dishwasher.
Linen and towels are provided but guests are required to bring their own beach towels.
A weekly cleaning/linen service is included and a complementary grocery pack on arrival is provided.
Private catering is available on request. Have gourmet fresh or frozen meals delivered to your Villa.
The Villa has it’s own private pool and a large sunbathing area all enclosed in a walled garden.
There is a spacious balcony overlooking the pool, ideal for Al Fresco dining with views of the pine-clad hills & valleys., where you can watch the changing scenery & stunning sunsets. |

Fethiye is the largest town in the area and is a 15min ride away on the dolmus (run every few mins). Set between wooded mountains and a wide blue bay, it is a bustling market town with plenty of shops, restaurants and cafés, on Tuesdays it boasts the biggest market in the area, some of the best bargains are to be found here. The area is full of small traders and workshops that will fix anything. The cobbled streets are packed with shops and bars, full of life by day and night. The Paspatur or old town is charming. Visit the weekly market or stroll along the marina and enjoy its rustic charm. There is a vast array of boat and fishing trips from here. A place not to miss is the fish market, you can by your fish from the daily catch and have it cooked by one of the surrounding restaurants, excellent value.
Leaving Fethiye to drive up the mountain on the road that leads to Olu Deniz, not only do you take in the beautiful scenery but also on a hot summers day you can notice a welcoming difference in temperature.
The first area you pass through is Ovacik, which is a fairly quiet location with mount Babadag to the left, it’s a fairly quite location with a selection of restaurants and shops. For trekkers the Lycean way starts here.
A little further along is Hisaronu village (where the villa is located). This resort is lively with many shops, restaurants and bars catering for the needs of all age groups. This is a good place to book for the many trips and activities available in the area.
About 2kms down the winding road from here
there is Olu Deniz which has the most photographed beach in Turkey. Here you will be able to find a variety of good restaurants and bars with a relaxed atmosphere. There are water sports available from the beach i.e.- water skiing, Para sailing, scuba diving, snorkelling, speedboat hire, pedaloes etc.
Getting about:
A car is not essential, try using the regular dolmus service this runs between Fethiye, Ovacik, Hisaronu, Olu Deniz. It's a mini bus that can be boarded/ exited anywhere on route, they run about every 5 mins.

"We visited Villa Almond from 3rd -11th August and were all very happy with the villa indeed. Before our departure, Janet and Terry were very helpful with information and hints for preparing. Our arrival day was unusual, however they were very accommodating about this. The villa's location was excellent, close to all the amenities, yet it's height provided a welcome breeze. It is 5 mins from Hisaronu and 10 mins from Olu Deniz by car. There is a dolmus stop very close to the villa also. The villa was really comfortable and the pool was brilliant. We were 100 yards from an excel lend restaurant, The Mountain Valley, which became a favourite of ours. It's service, food and prices were top class. We also arranged a special barbecue banquet evening with a chef for £10 per person. It was a really lovely and memorable evening, although we were bursting at the seems! Our transfers were organised by a company called Activities Unlimited. They provided excellent service, with a rep visiting us on our first day to brief us with all the information we might need. We organised almost all of our excursions with them (5 days worth!). They were very competitive and provided a higher quality service and excursion than if we had of booked elsewhere. Also, they went well beyond the call of duty with informing us of the terror threats and calling all the companies for us. I would definitely recommend Villa Almond, as everything was perfect, making our holiday very enjoyable. Many thanks!" |
