OVERVIEW
Located in a quiet residential area situated less than 10 mins drive to Moraira and Calpe and within 2 mins drive / 10 mins walk to the local supermarket and beach.
Approx, 10 mins drive to the nearest golf course, scuba diving centre and sailing school.

Internet access is available locally in Moraira.

The villa sleeps max 8 + 1 infant, there are 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom and 1 single bedroom. There is a single fold-up bed that can be placed in any bedroom as required & double sofa beds in the upstairs & downstairs lounge. A cot, high chair & safe are also avaliable at no extra charge.

The villa has been completely refurbished. The villa has air conditioning & heating.

Upstairs accommodation comprises of 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and lounge with 1 double sofa bed, twin sofa & ceiling fan, kitchen, bathroom, air con & heating units and open terrace for alfresco dining with fabulous views to sea and surrounding areas. satellite tv and DVD player with selection of dvd films, books, toys & information guides.

Lower accommodation comprises of 1 double bedroom, 1 single bedroom, 1 single fold up bed (for use in any bedroom), lounge with double sofa bed, satellite t.v, dvd player, air con & heating unit, kitchen and shower room.

To the rear of the property there is a private family size pool with terrace and outdoor shower.
To the front of the property there is a large garden with private driveway leading to a car-port.

LOCATION & AREA
Moraira is a pretty fishing village, with strict building regulations in force, so there are no high rise buildings here. The fishermen still go out early in the morning to catch fresh fish to sell later that day at the traditional fish market. The people are renowned for their friendliness and with a coastline that stretches for 8km you will not be spoilt for a choice of bars or excellent restaurants. You can walk along the palm fringed seafront past the castle and numerous beaches, choose from rocks, pebbles or sand. The main sandy beach l'Ampolla is situated at the foot of the castle and is patrolled by lifeguards, there are excellent facilities here including childrens play area, restaurants, bar and various watersports. El Portet beach also has fine sand and crystal clear water, and has been presented with the Blue Flag Award for cleanliness.

Moraira also has a very good market weekly with lots of bargains for avid shoppers as well as fresh fruit and vegetables.

Calpe is a coastal town and resort situated approximately 45 minutes drive north of Alicante International Airport. Steeped in history and culture, the Old Town is especially interesting with museums, picturesque little streets and squares with many tapas bars and restaurants. Calpe is a friendly fishing village which sits close to the Rock of Ifach on a hill rising up from the last spurs of the sierra Bernia in the middle of spain's Coata Blanca, a geographical marvel that provides access to the northernmost towns of Alicante's Marina district. It is an authentic tourist site, with a coastline boasting sandy beaches, cliff faces in some areas and an ancient salt mine, which all give the town a peculiar flavour of its own. Calpe is overlooked by the towering Penon de Ifach which juts out into the sea and rises to over 1000 ft.

In contrast to the larger commercialised resorts, the village of Calpe with its narrow winding streets, traditional Spanish architecture and street markets generates an atmosphere of friendship and relaxation, a village where after only a few days you seem to know and greet everyone.

Calpe is a place of daring contrasts, where modern buildings and wide avenues harmonize with an ancient fishing village, where locals are proud of their past, yet welcome tourists and visitors with warm - hearted hospitality.

Calpe's fishing port comes alive with hustle and bustle as the afternoon fish auction draws near. Restaurant terraces fill up with lively crowds anxious to try some of the fresh local shellfish. The town centre preserves the remains of a small fort from the 16th century, called the Torreon de la Peca. There is also a Gothic-style parochial church worth visiting, with Mudejar additions. From the chapels of Cometa and Salvador there is an attractive view.
