Pretty 'Villa Jax' is set in a large level sunny south facing private garden in 'Real Spain'.
Surrounded by the spectacular mountains of the green Jalon Valley and ancient whitewashed villages, Villa Jax is 20mins drive to beaches and golf and theme and pleasure parks.
Relax by your own private 8x4 mtrs swimming pool where there is plenty of places to sunbath or escape the heat under the dapple shade of olive trees and the Gazebo. BBQ areas and outside eating areas. Play boules in the purpose built court or just laze in the hammock.
Inside the villa, the furnishings are good quality and modern. Decor is light, clean neutral shades. Very well equipped, clean kitchen with electric oven, gas stainless steel hob, modern stainless steel extractor, microwave oven. Washing machine. Air con in both bedrooms. Two comfortable settees in the lounge (one a double sofa bed). Lovely dining suite. The bathrooms are light and clean, one with full bath.

The villa is located at the end of a cul de sac and (no main roads nearby), overlooking peaceful vineyards, olive, orange, almond groves and the delightful village of Parcent where the local people are very friendly. The villa is 10 minutes walk from the Village, where there is a bank, 2 bakeries, general store and weekly fruit and veg market. At least 6 good restaurants in walking distance, from paella to Italian pizza to typical spanish tapas bars. linebreak}The rear garden is gated for added peace of mind for little ones. There is ample off road parking for 3 cars.

Villa is on the edge of Parcent village in the Jalon Valley. 1.10 hours drive north of Alicante Airport and 1.15 hours south of Valencia Airport. 20 minutes inland from the upmarket coastal resorts of Javea, Calpe, Denia and Moraira, where you can find long pale golden beaches and chic promenades.
The Jalon Valley is renowned for its local Bodegas (wine cellars) where local farmers still grow grapes and produce their famous wines for you to sample and buy. The Saturday Rastro (Flea) Market in Jalon is a must to visit, one of the largest on the Costa Blanca. Popular with day trippers.
In February/March the whole valley is is a sea of Almond blossom. In May the heady scent of oranges and lemon blossom, still farmed by the locals. Wild flowers are everywhere in the spring and early summer. Birdlife is abundant.
If rural Spain is what you are looking for with beauty and mountain views, you could not fail to be wowed by the splendour of the green Jalon Valley. There are also some wonderful mountain roads further inland worth exploring. A car is a must. However, cyclists, walkers, climbers and horse riders love this part of Spain also. |

We stayed at the Villa Jax in August 2007 and I can honestly say this villa is worth staying at.
Jackie and Terry (owners) are well organised and send very detailed directions to the villa which was great. Once at the villa there are mountains of information ranging from maps of the area, places to visit, restaurants etc...
The agents looking after the villa and the pool are very friendly, polite but also respect your privacy and work hard to ensure you have a lovey time at the villa, nothing is too much trouble..
The villa is spacious, clean and extremley comfortable with beautiful furnishings and it is a home from home with plenty of extra;s to enure a wonderful holiday. Air Con in the bedrooms is a bonus
We loved the selection of books to read by the pool and the well equiped kitchen complete with Spanish cookery books!.
Our children, when the sun was too hot were happy to watch a DVD (good selection) in the lounge or play scrabble on the shaded area.
One of the best features of this wonderful villa has to be the pool and the garden which has clearly been a labour of love and is so beautiful, loads of space to relax. My boys loved the hammock in the shaded area and the toys to play with in the pool everything you could think of and more is at this villa
The villa is also very private, quiet and not overlooked.
