| Pago del Humo is a countryside village just outside Chiclana. This area of Andalucia has a rich, cultural and historic heritage. It has a diverse landscape with miles of beautiful unspoilt beaches. The local beach has been awarded the Blue Flag since it was founded. There is a national park nearby which is a resting point for many migrating birds. This can only be accessed by organised boat tour so is totally unspoilt. Often large storks can be seen in the local area using the tops of electricity pylons and anything high as nesting sites. They are quite a sight. This is also the area the Spanish themselves come to on holiday. Cadiz is only 15 minutes drive away and is the oldest City in Europe. Jerez is conveniently situated only 30 minutes away and is the Sherry capital of the world. Visit a Bodega to see how sherry and brandy is made or watch the beautiful Andalucian horses dance at the world famous School. There is also a fabulous water park here for children and a Zoo. Gibralter is just over an hour's drive away and the Apes on the Rock are not to be missed. Also the great savings on the duty free shopping in Gibralter must not be forgotton. Seville is just over an hour away also and is a beautiful, historic City with many tourist attractions which are all easily accessed by open top double deck tourist bus. A mention must also go to the beautiful White villages surrounding Chiclana built by the Moors. |

Guestbook: Thanks for a relaxing break in a super, well equipped villa. We could walk to a couple of local ventas and also catch a bus at the end of the road into town which was super because we drive everywhere in the UK.

Had a fabulous time. The local shop was extremely handy and found the villa very well placed for local amenities. We really enjoyed ourselves. The pool was brilliant and your beaches are fantastic, so unspoilt.
