It is a charming independent one bedroom apartment (45 m2) sleeping 2+1 persons, situated in a secluded area on the grounds of VILLA SOVRANA.
Apartment ALTO is reached from the electrically commanded gate at road level, up a flight of 10 steps, followed by 24 steps up past an organic kitchen garden and beautiful garden. 2 more spaced up steps cross the patio with outdoor sitting area to the entrance of this independent apartment.
In the evening, a light breeze coming from the sea makes the hill cooler and very enjoyable. As a matter of fact, the locals have always preferred to spend their holidays at this hillside location by the sea, because of its mild weather, clean air and tranquillity.
The position is such that it is conveniently situated for visiting either side of the coastline and for excursions to Positano, Amalfi, Pompeii
Entrance is into the living room / kitchen area. There is a futon divan bed for one person. The kitchen corner is fitted with 2 electric hobs and there is a small portable electric oven and a fridge. The double bedroom enjoys a panoramic view through the window, and next to it is the shower room with WC, washbasin, etc.
An enclosed and partially covered parking area is available for used by guests but it will also be easy to park on the lane outside the garden.

From the docks in Sorrento, approx. 10 Km, you will be able to board ferries and hydrofoils to Naples, Capri, Ischia, Amalfi and Positano.
From Sorrento you will also be able to reach Pompeii, Herculaneum, Naples etc.. and the central train station of Naples by the local Circumvesuviana trains.
The nearest beach is Sorrento, however you will be within easy reach of all the beaches of the Sorrentine Peninsula on both sides.
It is best to have a car if you come to stay at apartment ALTO, especially since there is parking space available for your use. However, if you decide not to bring one, the public SITA buses run a regular service from S. Agata down to Sorrento, and if you like hiking, there are many trails and short cuts that will enable you to discover all the hidden beauty of this area.
