Casa Di Vignolo Villa Pergine Valdarno Italy

We were very impressed with this villa. Its location is superb; quiet, clean, quaint and not overrun by tourists. Pergine is a small village in a rural setting. We had a rent car and toured nearby sights daily. A grocery, meat market, bakery and a restaurant werer only a few steps away. The owners were pleasant and helpful. The local neighbors were wonderful - very friendly despite the language barrier. {linebreak}{linebreak} James W. - Jul 2006 {linebreak}{linebreak} The village of Pergine Valdarno is very centrally situated, close to Arrezzo and not far from Florence with lots of beautiful villages in the vicinity. The casa is simple but lovely, and full of atmosphere,and within walking distance of the village shops. We really enjoyed our two weeks at Casa Vignolo. I felt like one of the townspeople, especially as we hung our laundry out on the rack to dry. Everyone went out of their way to be extra friendly to us. We had a wonderful seven days in Pergine Valdarno and would consider retuning to that area for a second or third time. It was very centrally located to everything you need to see in Tuscany and Umbria. The house was more then we had hoped for and the setting was perfect for us. Our landlords were extremely thoughtful. They met us be the Autostrada so we wouldn't get lost, provided us with extras.
