Our villas are in one of the best locations in South-East Crete in the unspoilt village of Makrigialos. Our luxury European-style town-house villas sit within a gated site set around a private courtyard with a large floodlit swimming pool as its centrepiece. Each of our two houses may be rented separately or together as a package - suitable for 2 families. Each has all the amenities you will need for a comfortable and relaxing self-catering holiday in tranquil spacious surroundings; 2 double or twin bedded bedrooms; modern kitchen, bathroom and shower room; secluded balconies and roof sun terrace; private garden and car parking. The nearest blue flag beach is a 5 minute walk away.

Makrigialos (“Long Beach”) occupies its own bay in South East Crete, 25kms (30 minutes drive) east of Ierapetra, along a coastline of secluded coves and fine quiet easy-to-get-to beaches, and 35kms south of Sitia in the Lassithi region. It is easily accessible from both of Crete's airports at Heraklion and Sitia. With its picturesque harbour and promenade, waterside tavernas, restaurants and cafes, the village is lively but still unspoiled. Its beautiful bay, long sandy beach and crystal clear water are matched by the friendly local hospitality. You will be assured of a warm welcome wherever you go!
Behind Makrigialos lie rolling hills with delightful panoramic views from out of the way villages where you can experience genuine ethnic cuisine. The many nearby attractions include the gorges of Pefki, Dasaki and Pevrolakia, water-park at Ierapetra, day boat trip to nearby Lefki island, wine-tasting at the Kaspa monastery and traditional Cretan evenings in Pefki. Makrigialos also plays host to a popular music festival in June.
The drive from the North to the South of Crete takes in some of the most beautiful and breathtaking scenery possible.
From Iraklion Airport follow the new road past Hersonnisoss, Malia, Stalis, along the coast road to Agios Nikoliaos. Here the road turns right towards the south coastal town of Irepetra. At Irepetra you turn left along the coast road for about 30 minutes drive. After a few small resorts and bays you arrive at the beautiful villages of Analipsis and Makrigialos. |

| Each of our architect-designed townhouses has been finished (December 2007) to the highest standards with open plan lounges and dining areas on the middle floor and main and second bedrooms at ground level. Both houses have full air-conditioning, also a TV and DVD/CD player. The main bedrooms in both houses are en-suite. In each there is also a separate bathroom with shower. Access to the middle floor and to roof terraces is via a large spiral staircase. The modern kitchens include dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, extractor and fridge/freezer. The living areas are extended on both sides by private balconies front and rear accessed from the middle floor. Balconies also overlook the floodlit 20 metre swimming pool. There are also large private roof sun-terraces where you can also enjoy the late evening sunshine and spectacular views over Makrigialos Bay or towards the mountains. Each house also has its own private garden with sunbeds (beds are also avaliable around the pool), and each has its own allocated car parking space within the gated complex. Bed linen and towels are provided and are changed twice weekly. |
