The popular Aloni Villas, named after the old threshing floor of stone incorporated in the private grounds, are two semi-detached villas completed to an exceptionally high standard in the summer of 2004. The Villas Ponente and Levante are surrounded by scented gardens with a large shared heated pool (11m x 5.5 m), sun terraces and a large barbecue area.
Each villa has two double bedrooms on the first floor one with a balcony, the other a large terrace, both having wonderful views across the valley. There is a shower room and toilet on the first floor. On the ground floor there is an open plan living area with kitchen and dining area plus a separate w.c. There is a large terrace leading from both the living and dining areas. In the basement there is a fully equipped laundry room.
The villas are within walking distance from the attractive yachting harbour of Agia Efimia, with its various secluded covers and beautiful clear water. In Agia Efimia there are a selection of shops, tavernas and bars. It also has its own scuba diving school and facilities to hire motor boats.
Kefalonia is the largest of the Ionian Islands with stunning scenery and magnificent panoramic views.

The Aloni Villas are situated 750 metres from Agia Efimia which is an attractive yachting harbour at the northern end of Sami Bay, on the east coast of Kefalonia. Agia Efimia has many colourful tavernas, cafes and bars, and ice cream parlour. There are also souvenir shops, supermarkets, bakeries, a butcher, a post office, pharmacy and cash point. You can also hire motor boats to explore the spectacular local coves and small isolated beaches, and cars or mopeds to discover the beauty of Kefalonia. If you are feeling energetic there are a number of local walking trails, or you can book a tennis court plus there is a scuba diving school. Close to the villa there are many attractive white pebble coves and small beaches with crystal clear water.
Argostoli Airport (EFL) is about 1 hours drive away. The capital of Kefalonia, Argostoli, with its wealth of shops, restaurants and bars, plus the Archaeological Museum and Corgialeneion Historical and Folk Art Museums is 30 Km. Myrtos Beach famed for the beauty of the white sand and blue water is a 15 minute drive and Anti Samos Beach, with the breathtaking sweep of the bay and sparkling clear water, ideal for snorkelling, is a 25 minute drive. The pretty port of Sami (which has a medical centre) is a 15 minute drive from which you can catch a ferry to the beautiful island of Ithaca or to Patras on the main land of Greece. The fascinating Drogorati Caves are 11 km away and the Mellisani Underground Lake, just outside Karavomilos is 6 km. To the south of the island Poros is 30 km and Skala 40 km. To the north spectacular Assos is 10 km and picturesque Fiskardo is 30 km

On your arrival at the Aloni Villas you will be greet by our local representative.
Each villa comprises:-
First floor:-
Bedroom 1: Kingsize double bedroom with air conditioning. French doors leading to a large terrace with a table and two chairs.
Bedroom 2: Kingsize double bedroom with air conditioning. French doors leading to a balcony.
Bathroom: Fully tiled with shower area, wc and sink.
Ground floor:-
Separate wc and sink and open plan living area.
Kitchen: Maple coloured cabinets with black granite work surfaces, cooker, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee maker. It is fully equipped with high quality china, glass, cooking utensils/pots and cutlery.
Dining: Maple dining table, black leather dining chairs. French doors leading to a large terrace containing mosaic table with matching chairs.
Living Room: Sofa bed, two easy chairs, coffee tables, etc. satellite TV (Nova), DVD, HI-FI, and wood burning stove. French doors leading to the same large terrace with a pergola.
Basement: Fully equipped laundry room.
We are able to accommodate a fifth person using the sofa bed at a rate to be agreed.
There is a maid service three times a week with linen, towels and pool towels being changed twice a week. We are also happy to provide beach towels.
The villas are surrounded by regularly maintained scented gardens. Roses, honeysuckle and jasmine climb and tumble over walls and pergolas. Bougainvillea, oleanders and many other flowering shrubs create a colourful display. There are orange, lemon, nespole, fig and olive trees. Set in the garden is a heated swimming pool (11 x 5.5 metres with a constant depth of 1.4 metres), which is cleaned three times a week. There is outside stylish kitchen with barbecue, fridge etc. equipped with cutlery, melamine plates etc and plastic glasses and an adjacent dining area shaded by a pergola with a table that can seat 10. There are both sunny and shaded areas for relaxing with loungers, side tables, director's chairs and deck chairs.

Although the scenery and location were amazing it was also the little touches that make the biggest difference and were so appreciated. Beautiful vases on the table, preserves etc in the fridge. Everything had been carefully thought out from the outside kitchen to the cotton bed linen and L’Occitane toiletries. It was my first holiday with my grandchildren and we had such fun in the pool and family meals around the barbecue. Never to be forgotten. May’08
