Newly built villa set in it's own spacious garden, on a small family run development, with ample parking. Large private paved patio area to rear with big mature mulberry tree. Covered patio at the front with large dining table and fabulous view over open Provencale countryside to hills in the distance. The main living area is open plan with well equipped American kitchen, inside dining area and sitting area (double sofa bed) with patio doors. Three double bedrooms, bathroom and en suite shower room. Everything is new, fresh and decorated in pale, calm colours and natural fabrics. All rooms have whitewashed beamed ceilings and stone tiled floors. The area is on the eastern edge of the Luberon with it's picturesque hilltop villages,such as Gordes,Bonnieux and Roussillon. There are miles of cycle tracks and beautiful walks which change with the seasons, as well as good facilities for horse riding. Spring brings the Mimosa and fruit and nut trees in blossom, in summer the fields of red poppies and later lavender are a real sight to see. To the west is the stunning Lac Sainte Croix at the entrance of the magnificent Gorge du Verdon and the Lac Esparron. Here many watersports are catered for, including sailing, canoeing, white water rafting, windsurfing, etc. Travelling 2 hours south of our property you can be on the Cote d'Azur and less than 2 hours to the north and you can be walking or ski-ing in the Alps. Also within easy travelling distance are the Camargue with great opportunities for bird watching and horse riding. Avignon, Apt, Marseille and Aix en Provence are easily accessable too for markets and shopping. |

| Located on a small holiday development with it's own restaurant and family run hotel, 2kms from the centre of Forcalquier, surrounded by open countryside and rolling hills. There is a reasonable size supermarket within 1km and a good selection of restaurants and shops in the cobbled streets of the old town. Monday there is one of the largest markets in the area held in Forcalquier, excellent for stocking up on local cheeses, meats, vegetables, fruit etc as well as browsing many local craft stalls. |
