Our villa is on the edge of a pretty French village in the Cognac region inland from Royan and its beaches and sea. It is very private with landscaped gardens and heated 8m x 4m pool. It comprises a modern three bedroomed main house built in the traditional Charente fashion and a separate, self contained, petite maison rouge. This has one double bedroom the kitchen/sittingroom has a clic-clac sofa doubling as a double bed.
The two smaller bedrooms in the main house have double beds and twin bunk beds. The main bedroom has a large double and a {italicclic-clac sofa.
Both houses are extremely well equipped and would be ideal for a family or group of families.
It is an ideal base for touring, being close to the beaches of the southwest,within close reach of the mountains of the Auvergne and the Cro-magnon sites of the Dordogne. |
