Guestbook: Jeanette, Brandon and Crew - August 2008
We were absolutely thrilled with our stay in Dominica. Everything about Belle Cote Villa speaks of relaxation! The ceilings fans throughout the house created a wonderful breeze that is supplemented by the cool wind coming off of the water—I never even turned the air conditioning on in my room! This is truly a home—the vaulted ceilings, huge kitchen and comfortable living room all combined to make me feel completely at ease. After just a couple of days at Belle Cote, I felt more relaxed than I have in months. The pool is another bonus and we loved having the patio space to sip a rum punch while reading. It was so terrific to have so many beaches near Belle Cote. Hodges Beach, where we snorkeled in the mornings, is just a very short walk from the front door. We also loved Pointe Baptiste beach (another short walk from the house)—the waves are terrific! We also really appreciated having the television and Internet access when feeling lazy and we wanted to stay home to relax. I was so happy there that I could barely put myself on the plane to leave. We can’t wait to get back to Belle Cote and we're literally counting the months until we can return.

This is an amazing island and the accommodations were superb.
Scott and Maggie – July 2008
We had a wonderful time and wished we could have stayed longer! The Villa was great, we felt absolutely comfortable there. It’s definitely something to experience at least once. Rosie was Great! The island itself is a true treasure!
Randy and Lisa - June/July 2008
We had an AWESOME time!!! And Belle Cote Villa was exceptional!
It was everything we expected plus some!!!!! Who else would have cold Kuboli's waiting in the fridge???? Rosie was great & very informative. Nigel is the "happiest guy in the world!" and MacEntyre was very nice. You have a wonderful staff. We felt like family when we left! Thank you so much for sharing your villa! What a view!!! What a home!!!
We absolutely fell in love with Dominica and can't wait to come back! A gorgeous island with the nicest people on the face of the earth! We hope it never changes!!!! STAY 2-3 Weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jessica (from Dominica) and her Family from Ireland - June 2008
Belle Cote Villa is a home away from home, located in one of the most beautiful villages on the island with great beaches and amenties close by. I love Calibishie and knowing that Belle Cote is in Calibishie makes Calibishie even more welcoming. Mia, my dog came along and she even loved it, so Belle Cote is for everyone. The house is amazing, Pat and Deb had a vision and their decor and style show through. You Guys got great taste!!! I love Belle Cote and Everything it offers. I will be back sooner rather than later.
Stew, Lee and Kristi - May 2008
Pack light, shop every day (you can get almost anything you need), enjoy the people of the island and enjoy the house, it is awesome. Last but not least be careful driving. Thanks for a week to remember.
Laurie, Jim and Kids – May 2008
This is a wonderful house in a great neighborhood. We loved everything! We had so much fun and were incredibly comfortable in the house and with the people in town! Thanks so very much for providing us with a dream vacation!
Gregg and Shari - April 2008
From what we saw in the top 1% of accommodations on the island. We would highly recommend it to those who understand Dominica is a great island to get away from resort life. The guest book is giving great suggestions.
Anita and Family - April 2008
The Villa is the most comfortable accommodation that we saw on the island. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
Pete and Liz – March 2008
I recommend the villa highly. We had a wonderful time and I thank you for your welcome basket, it was a very nice addition, and for your hospitality. Rosie was terrific. Overall, our experience in Dominica was a 10. It was the adventure of a lifetime and we all can't wait to come back. The native people are so friendly. I've traveled extensively in the Caribbean and Dominica is my favorite island. A total thumbs up on Belle Cote Villa.
Dolores and Doyle - March 2008
It's the best place to stay in the Calibishie/Northeast coast area! Definitely book it if it's available. Rosey and Nigel are very sweet and helpful.
Valerie and Stephen - March 2008
Belle Cote Villa and location far surpassed our expectations on Dominica. Even though the web site made the villa look upscale, having been to Dominica before, we were pleasantly surprised at what we found. There are probably not very many places to stay that are so well done and in such a beautiful setting. It was a joy to get up to the sunrise over the Atlantic each morning and to watch it set over the volcanic mountains at night. Truly a paradise!
Odile and Yves - February 2008
Do not hesitate, Go for at least 2 weeks, the Island spirit grows on you and there is a lot to see. A lot of driving on tricky roads, beautiful Atlantic deserted beaches, the food is not great, the rain is always present but the sun also, don't expect typical Caribbean beaches, don't expect to go out at night with your latest sexy skirt, enjoy the most beautiful rain forest on earth and the most unspoiled island in the Caribbean, you will find the people of Dominica very genuine, welcoming, generous and very friendly. The Belle Cote Villa is the most comfortable accommodation you will find on the entire Island with a view of the Ocean to die for when you wake up in the morning.
Thanks to our favorite "Pirates of the Caribbean" Pat and Deb who brought together luxury and wildness.
Daniel and Maria - February 2008
The house is terrific and very well equipped. Go for it!!
Catherine and Steven - January 2008
Definitely stay there. The accommodations are superior to those I have had in the past on the island and the location is great.
