Mapusa market where you will probably like to shopping is nearly same distance from the house as Anjuna Wednesday Flea Market and close to Arpora Saturday Market - all great happenings.
Comparing to beaches it is more retreat, it is quite and private, no noise from bikes, shops and sometimes annoying sellers around, yet you are minutes away from Anjuna, Chapora or Vagator, closed to petrol station or St. Anthony Hospital. There is also Yoga studio near by. Fresh milk and newspaper provided every morning or when required.
