Great location in town … The Carriage House is ideally situated on the western historic side of town. It is in the middle of it all, yet very quiet, surrounded by horse pasture and across from open space. You will enjoy spectacular, uncompromised views of towering Mt. Crested Butte, Paradise Divide, Mt. Emmons, Whetstone, and Maroon Bells as well as the historic Kupushion barn. No car is required when you stay in this perfect location as the house is only two blocks from Elk Street (the historic main street with boutique shops and wonderful restaurants) and steps away from the free bus shuttle to Mt. Crested Butte!
Two bedrooms and two baths with antique and rustic furnishings, luxurious bedding and linens, and other comforts make the Carriage House perfect for a small family or two couples. There is an open living space on the upper floor with vaulted ceilings over the gourmet kitchen and cozy living room which provides uncompromised views of the surrounding mountains. The living room is outfitted with the latest home theatre system, flat screened TV, cable television, wireless internet, and a cozy fireplace. Off the living room is a deck with a BBQ -- perfect for grilling, catching some rays, and admiring the beautiful views. The upper floor also has one bedroom with twin beds (can be converted to a King) and one bathroom. The lower floor has a beautifully furnished, inviting queen bedroom with an exquisite bathroom including a steam shower.

The home was absolutely beautiful! It was very comfortable and in an excellent location. We were able to mill around town and go hiking and snowshoeing. Our dog loved all the open space and nature! Thank you for allowing us to stay there. I know it must be tough letting people stay in your home, but we took care of it as if it were our's. Thanks again.

"The Carriage House is fabulous! We loved it! You have fitted it out beautifully, which we really appreciated. It was wonderful to come back to somewhere homely after a hard day of skiing, and the kids loved playing in the snow around the house...
