Our exceptionally quiet home is located on 3 forested acres, inside two million acres of National Forest, near Lake Ouachita. It’s clean, spacious, and well-equipped... a perfect escape for rest, relaxation, and renewal.
A pristine stream borders the property and is just right for wading or listening from the shaded hammock or the front porch swing. Organic flower, fruit and vegetable gardens provide our guests with refreshment and beauty 7 months of the year!
Our simple one-level home includes an open floor plan with a spacious living room and fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms and two baths.
Each room has unique, colorful hand-painted walls; some are murals and some are free-flowing swirls, and a ceiling fan, plus there's AC in the living room and master bedroom. |

Explore the many wonders of nature on one of the cleanest lakes in the country (according to the EPA). Lake Ouachita has over 1000 miles of shoreline and over 200 islands where you can camp or play on your own private beach. The lake is a swimmer or scuba diver's heaven with crystal clear water, rare jellyfish (non-stinging) and sponges that are found in very few of the cleanest freshwater lakes, plus world class striped bass abound here as do most types of freshwater fish.{linebreak}
Three recreational marinas are within a 10 minute drive of your vacation home, and include our favorite areas for hiking, picnicking, swimming, fishing, and horseback riding, boat slips, pontoon houseboat, and jet ski rentals. Mountain Harbor Resort also has a full service spa and a quiet restaurant that overlooks the lake.{linebreak}
