We had a wonderful two-week holiday at the Old Walnut Mill, thoroughly recommend it. Travelling to Barrou via the Eurotunnel was a pleasant and trouble-free experience, with the French toll roads offering stress free driving. All of our expectations were surpassed, from the friendly and tranquil village of Barrou to the majestic splendour of the numerous
Châteaux’s dotted around the region. Freshly baked croissants from the boulangerie with morning coffee in the secluded sunny courtyard provided a fantastic start to the day. Jim and Pauline’s Old Walnut Mill offers a charming and comfortable home from home to explore this historical and truly beautiful part of the world. visit for more reviews |
