Itinerary

Day 1

AM - departure in private car from Lima to the city of Huaraz, located 385 kms. in the northern Highlands, city that has the highest pick in Peru, the Huascaran (6,768 mts). The Conococha Pass at 4,100 m.o.s.l. will also be passed.
PM - arrival to Huaraz and transfer to hotel. In the evening a short walk to downtown to visit de Main Square and main avenues
Over night in Huaraz in a 3* hotel in double room basis + breakfast

Day 2

AM - Full day excursion to the Callejón de Huaylas, visiting Yungay and the Llanganuco lake. The white chain of the Andes can be appreciated
PM - Return to the hotel
Over night in Huaraz in a 3* hotel in double room basis + breakfast

Day 3

AM - Full day excursion to the Callejón de Conchucos for a visit to the Archaeological Site of Chavin de Huantar, with its famous Lanzón and the Stone Heads. During the tour the wonderful landscape of the Andes Black chain can be appreciated, the Querococha Lake, and the Kashuis tunnel will be crossed.
PM - return back to the hotel.
Over night in Huaraz in a 3* hotel in double room basis + breakfast

Day 4

AM - departure back to Lima
PM - arrival to Lima and transfer to hotel

Transfer in private car, or bus depending on the amount of people, lodging, breakfast, entrance tickets to sites

Because of the wonderful landscapes between the white and black chain of the Andes, and the incredible Archaeological Site of Chavin de Huantar (1,300 to 400 B.C.) this will be an unforgetable tour.
