Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1 transfer airport Calama - San Pedro de Atacama - Valley of the moon HD . Transfer Calama airport / San Pedro. At 15:00 P.M. from hotel, visit to Valle de la Luna, short stop at Cordillera de la Sal, Valle de la Muerte (walk 30 min. aprox.), Valle de la Luna, visit at Cavernas de Sal, “Las Tres Marías”, at this point you will wait until the sunset at the central crater of the great dune. Return to San Pedro at 20:00 hrs. H/D

Day 2

Day 2 Altiplanic lagoons and salt deposit of Atacama FD. Departure time 08.00 hours from Hotels. Visit to the villages of Toconao and Socaire, Atacama Salt Deposit, Miscanti and Miñiques Lagoons (at 4.150 metres above sea level). A visit will also be made to the salt deposits of Capur and Talar as well as to Tuyajto Lagoon, (Flamingos). Return to San Pedro at 19:00 hrs.

Day 3

Geysers and villages - Calama FD. Departure time 04:00 hours from Hotels. Arrival time to El Tatio Geysers (4.320 metres above sea level): 07:00 hours. Breakfast and walk through the site. Then visit to the Caspana Village (Old Village, Church). Afterwards visit to Pukara [Fortification of Incaic origin] de Lasana, the petroglyphs of the Loa River Valley, the Inca Coya Lagoon and Chiu-Chiu (Church). Arrival to Calama, airport and/or return to San Pedro. Estimated return time to San Pedro: 18:00 hours.

  • Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
