Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1 Arica : Socoroma - Putre FD.
Departure from hotel at 09:00 hours, drive into Azapa Valley, Cerro Sombrero and La Tropilla geoglyphs, visit to San Miguel de Azapa archaeological Museum, which displays sand preserved mummies and pre-inca relics dating since 10.000 years B.C. entering Lluta Valley, hamlet of Poconchile, Pukara de Copaquilla, hamlet of Zapahuira (lunch) visit to Socoroma town, short trekking. Then short stop at Putre view point. Arrival in Putre at 16:00 hours. Walking tour to Putre. (Lunch, dinner with Chilean wine)

Day 2

Day 2 Putre - Surire Salt Deposit - Putre FD.
Breakfast in Hotel. Departure from hotel at 09:00 hours, entering “Las Vicuñas National Reserve. Panoramic view of Guallatiri volcano, visit to Surire salt deposit, sight of wild species. Free time for swimming at Polloquere outdoors hot spring in place. Picnic on rote. Return to Putre at 17:00 hours. (Packed lunch, dinner with Chilean wine, mineral water)

Day 3

Day 3 - Putre - Chungara Lake - Arica FD.Breakfast in Hotel.Departure from hotel at 09:00 hours. Entering Lauca National Park, sight of exotic flora, wild fauna and majestic scenery: the Payachatas volcanoes and Chungara Lake, the highest in the world (4.517 m.o.s.l), returning to Cotacotani Lagoons, visit to the typical villages of Parinacota, Packed lunch, short trekking Las Cuevas zone. Return to Arica the same way, arriving in Arica at about 17:00 hours. (Lunch, mineral water).
