Itinerary

Day 1

Finally, our J-BA Budget Tour
is for the adventurer who is open to stairs, heat, and crowded underground experiences (!) Your host will meet you at a central location near the subway; Subway to the Jewish historic center of BA to visit 2 Historical Synagogues-a beautiful Ashkenazi synagogue (completed in 1919) + a synagogue built by the Jewish immigrants from Aleppo, Syria (1932); the AMIA from the outside only (Jewish Federation Building with outdoor memorial dedicated to those killed in the 1994 bombing of this building), and a uniquely located Memorial to the victims of the Shoah. This Jewish tour is not recommended for people who have: any health conditions whatsoever, difficulty walking, aversion to stuffy, hot spaces, or trouble managing stairs.

This tour does NOT include return transportation-(truly a budget tour!) Your host will gladly share tips on getting to where you want to go following your J-BA tour completion. Meeting point instructions are provided on your confirmation sheet following signup.
