Itinerary
Day 1
Day One is often a travel day. You will arrive in the park either by plane or by van.
Day 2
Many folks choose to take a hike out on the Root Glacier on the second day of their trip, or even try their hand at ice climbing! In the evening we can take you through the 14-story historic Copper Mill in Kennecott and share fascinating stories from back in the day!
Day 3
We generally take off down the river on Day Three. We carry everything with us in the rafts for a comfortable camp set-up. Each night we camp on the river-bank and cook a great meal of fresh food we've been carrying in coolers. Your guides will be friendly, personable, and extremely knowledgeable about the land you are traveling through.
Day 4
We spend each day of the trip floating for several hours and taking short hikes to get views of waterfalls and panoramas of the majestic mountains spread out all around us. We often see black and grizzly bears, bald eagles, seals, and salmon as we float ever closer to the ocean.
Day 5
Depending on the length of your trip, we may have time for a layover day in the middle to just relax around camp or take a hike higher in to the mountains that surround us.
Day 6
On the last day of the trip, we take-out by mid-afternoon and you're off to your next destination!

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
