Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive in La Paz
Begin your adventure in the peaceful, "untouristy" capital city of La Paz. Enjoy the memorable sunsets, which blend sky, land and sea as you stroll the lovely beachfront boulevard.
Day 2
Tour to the Marine Biology Institute in La Paz
Travel to Port San Carlos
Visit the Marine Biology Institute in La Paz in the morning and transfer to Port San Carlos.
Day 3
Transfer to Port San Carlos
Magdalena Bay for whale watching
Today we will meet the star attractions of this trip, the Gray Whales on Magdalena Bay. Each fall thousands of gray whales religiously make the 5000 mile migration from the Artic waters to court, mate and give birth in the sheltered bays and lagoons of Baja California, the best whale-watching waters in the world. Become acquainted with these gentle giants from your special whale watching panga boat. Gray whale sightings can only be described as incredible, and a privileged visit from a "friendly" whale is a lasting encounter you will always cherish. You will have two hours of whale watching today.
Day 4
Second day of Whale Watching and vist the estuary
The day begins with breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast we will leave for our second day of whale watching.
Day 5
Return to La Paz
After breakfast we will return to La Paz. You have free time in the afternoon or you may visit the Serpentarium.
Day 6
Holy Spirit Island Tour
We will meet at the lobby of the hotel for for the boat tour to Holy Spirit Island. This tour is eight hours, with a chance to do some snorkeling and swim or watch the sea lion colony.
Day 7
Depart La Paz
Carrry back a myriad of memories full of unforgettable experiences.
