Explore Jordan on camel back the way the locals have done for 1000's of years. Visit the ancient red city of Petra, and camp under the stars in Wadi Rum.

Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Jordan. You will be met and assisted at the airport in Amman and transferred to our desert camp in Wadi Rum for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

After breakfast, the camels will be ready for our tour. We will head out on camels from Al-Kharaza to Alhmaima, stopping for lunch along the way. Then we will continue until we reach the Slaves caves(Magharet Al-Abeed) where we will have dinner and camp overnight.

Day 3

After breakfast in our tents, we will continue on camels through Wadi Al-Hiwa, the white sanded Al-Beida (Little Petra) where we will stop to have lunch. Then continuing on until we reach Al-Thaghra where we will have dinner and camp overnight.

Day 4

After breakfast in Thaghra we will continue on camels to the Sail Masooda. On our way we will stop to have lunch amongst the beautiful mountains and marvelous desert. We make our camp in Sail Masooda where we will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 5

After breakfast in Sail Masooda, we continue on our camels backs to reach Sail Abu Khshaiba, the very nearest place within our trip, to Petra. We will stop to have lunch along the way and we will make our camp in Sail Abu Khshaiba where we will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 6

After breakfast in Sail Abu Khshaiba, we will transfer to Petra by coach, where we will have our lunch. After lunch we will visit the beautiful rose-red ancient city of Petra, voted one of the NEW 7 Wonders of the World in 2007. Tonight we will stay in a hotel.

Day 7

Today we will have a full days visit to Petra and stay in a hotel overnight.

Day 8

After breakfast we will be transferred by coach to Amman airport for departure. Along the way, we will visit Kerak Castle, Mt. Nebo, and Madaba(the Christian Church).

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

  • If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
  • Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
