By far our most popular tour of 2008 and it is easy to understand why. This tour has it all, Highland Lochs, Glens and Castles and if you are lucky enough, catch a glimpse of the Loch Ness Monster.

From Glasgow we head north passing Loch Lomond over the desolate wilderness of Rannoch Moor and onwards to Glencoe, the scene of the "Glencoe Massacre". Glencoe with it's spectacular mountain scenery is a must see where we will stop for photgraphs and to admire the stunning but haunting beauty of the Glen.
Continuing north we will stop at Fort William, which sits in the shadow of Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain. From there we enter the Great Glen, a deep glaciel valley which follow's a geological fault line. Criss crossing the Caledonian Canal our journey takes through the picturesque village of Fort Augustus at the southern tip of Loch Ness. We trace Loch Ness to the ruins of Urquhart Castle where we will make a short stop for photographs. Urquhart Castle sits on the shore of Loch Ness, the spot of many 'claimed'Loch Ness monster sightings.
A little further on at Brackla near Dromnadrochit we will stop for over an hour. Here you choose a one hour Loch Ness Cruise or alternatively you can simply relax and enjoy some afternoon refreshments overlooking the mysterious waters of Loch Ness.
We make the short drive to Inverness where we will take in a quick tour of the Capital of the Highlands. We turn south and head through the mountains of the Cairngorms National Park and the Grampian Mountains passing through the tourist town of Pitlochry and the rolling hillls or Perthshire where we will stop for refreshments at the visitor centre there before our return to Glasgow.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
