{bold}YOUR DAY {-bold}
Start the day by exploring the historic village of Leukerbad, it's narrow alley way streets, it's thermal fountains in the town square. Enjoy the superb panoramic view on your ride up to the Gemmipass, 2350 m above sea level. Up here at the Berghotel Wildstrubel enjoy some of the different dishes from the region; raclette, fondue, or rösti along with a glass of local wine. Then, what better way to enjoy this winter paradise and marvel at its beauty than to enjoy a snow-shoe walk or take part in a spot of tobogganing fun. With two tracks to choose from the Gemmiwind hill with a length of 1.5km and the Gemmiblitz hill of 1.2km, you're sure to be rolling around in the snow with laughter. To round off the day we'll take the Gemmibahn back down into Leukerbad to relax and unwind in the lovely hot thermal waters of the Lindner Alpentherme - Europe's largest thermal spa centre. Relax as we take you home at the end of this relaxing day.

ABOUT THE AREA
You'll find everything your heart desires in Leukerbad. It doesn't matter whether you're sports mad, a wellness fan, in search of peace and quiet, or more family oriented. Situated at 1411 m above sea level and surrounded on three sides by the fascinating and awe-inspiring Valais mountains, Leukerbad is largest thermal spa and wellness resort in the alps. The 3.9 million litres of thermal water that flows daily into the private and public bathes of Leukerbad comes out of the source at a temperature of 51° degrees Celsius. The thermal water comes from the mountain region called Torrent, where the water seeps 2500 m into the ground before it comes out at Leukerbad.
