- Departure from Vigo (departures available upon request from other cities and villages nearby)
- We follow down the LOWER RIAS BAIXAS until reaching La Guardia fishing village
- Visit the MONTE SANTA TECLA CELTIC HILL-FORT with reconstructed huts and the museum with artifacts
- Lunch in a restaurant at the top of the hill with PANORAMIC VIEWS of the RIVER MIÑO meeting the Atlantic sea, and views of the mountains of Northern Portugal. Enjoy a Seafood feast with Lobster, crab etc... and Albariño wines
- Visit BODEGAS TERRAS GAUDA, an Albariño winery located in the O ROSAL sub-zone of the D.O. Rias Baixas
- Visit the FORTIFIED CATHEDRAL OF TUI and it's old quarter
- Then reaching the boarder whereas we cross over an ancient Iron Bridge into NORTHERN PORTUGAL'S MINHO VALLEY region to visit the Fort boarder village of VALENÇA DO MINHO
- Free time to walk around the Fort of Valenca with its quaint shops etc...

On this private tour you will explore an area of natural beauty with a multitude of different landscapes, which we will admire for hill-top vantage points.
The area is known as the lower Rias Baixas and Baixo Miño, it is the coastline that follows down from Vigo to A Guarda -the last village of the Galician coast before reaching Northern Portugal- Then the Miño river flows into the Atlantic Ocean separating Galicia from Portugal.
We will enjoy the spectacular view from the top of a Celtic Hill-fort while having a seafood lunch with around 8 different types of seafood, and of course accompanied by the local Rosal wine. This area, apart from the scenery, offers fabulous wines, which are grown in the O Rosal valley a sub-zone of the D.O. Rias Baixas. Here they make Albariño wine as well as the local Rosal wines which are a blend of different local grape varieties including Abariño. We will take detailed tour of one of the most important wineries of the area and try the difference between the 2 types of wines.
Before ending our day we will visit the two bordering cities, 1st of all Tui, which posses a well resorted historic quarter and a Fortified Cathedral also visited by many Pilgrimage on their way to Santiago coming from Portugal. Then crossing over the Miño into Portugal visit the fort of Valença do Minho.
A day packed full of contrast and different flavors!
