Itinerary

Day 1

Flight to Spain, travel to Casa Escocia (transfers can be arranged if ness), evening meal and plan for the coming week.

Day 2

Drop off at high mountain pass and cycle back to Casa Escocia (2-4 hours), descending over 4000 feet.

Day 3

Single Track and open trail mixed route starting from Casa Escocia and taking in a variety of the local Alpujarran terrain. Great day for getting a feel for the area.

Day 4

Trip to Granada city, where you can visit the Alhambra Palace, make use of the cities shops or sample the delights of the many cafes and bars.

Day 5

Back on the bike for another uplift to a high start point to the west of Casa Escocia. More XC and downhill action on route back to the Sunshine Breaks Mountain Base.

Day 6

An early start for a Mountain to Coast expedition. Starting at Casa Escocia we follow trails through the Mountains and finish up in the Mediterranean Sea for a swim!

Day 7

A day at the beach to unwind or if you prefer you could choose to relax locally, go out for another day in the mountains or do something different like horse riding.

The days mountain biking or walking will be catered to the groups ability. The aim of the week is for everyone to have fun and enjoy themselves. We can run these trips year round although the summer months (Jul-Aug) can get very hot.

Anyone wanting to simply use Casa Escocia as a base and go off and explore themselves is very welcome to do so. If you want to bring your own bike then by all means do.
