Private and exclusive tour for wine and gastronomy lovers. Discover the best wineries and gastronomy of this famous wine region. We will travel to the town of Gratallops, the Priorat´s wine Cathedral
Itinerary
Day 1
Clients will be collected at their accomodation by 9:00am to travel to the town of Gratallops, the Priorat´s wine Cathedral, where we can find four of the most important and renowned wineries in the Priorat region.
Although the Priorat wines have been produced for centuries, it is only recently in the past decade or so, that these have taken a quantitative leap in quality that now puts them on the forefront of Spanish wines. This revolution has been taking place mainly by these five visionaries winemakers:
Clos de l´Obac form Carles Pastrana), Daphne Glorian (Clos Erasmus), Clos Mogador, from René Barbier, and of course Alvaro Palacios.
We will visit two traditional and renowned wineries where we will enjoy a guided visit and private tasting led by oenologists from the house. After that we will enjoy a gourmet lunch in an intriguing restaurant in Gratallops with wine matching.
Alter lunch our return to Barcelona is scheduled around 6:30 hrs.
