Itinerary

Day 1

Savour and indulge with us in some of our favourite foodie haunts as we visit historic Barcelona. Spend an evening with a small group strolling along the historic streets of Barcelona with a knowledgeable guide while tasting Spanish wines and Spain's culinary treasures. We offer you the opportunity to go where the locals go, eat what they eat and to have fun while learning something in the experience.Our meeting place is Tapelia, a restaurant with a wide selection of local, delectable tapas, situated in Barcelona's most emblematic and elegant avenue, overseeing the best modernist architecture of the country has to offer. Here you will enjoy 3 tapas with a glass of wine or beer, while your food and wine guide explains the flavors of the wine, the cuisine and the cultures present in Spain. From here your guide will lead you to Barcelona's most famous street, Las Ramblas. It is the most popular place in the city, a straight pedestrian thoroughfare, planted with plane trees and crossed day and night by a constant stream of passers-by. The atmosphere here is unique, with its cages full of birds, its tapas bars and little local restaurants with hams hanging above the bar.
Off we go to the gothic quarter, where you will discover an architecture, atmosphere, language and gastronomy that are unique in Spain... and some of the gourmet shops over 100 years old.Our last stop will be at a Basque Bar in a historic XIV century building, an ideal spot to take a break in your trip along the gothic quarter. Here 3 tasty pintxos (Basque tapas) and two glasses of wine or beer or sidra will be waiting for you.So join us for an evening of good food, good wine, good conversation, and good fun!

Our meeting place is in front of Starbucks cafe in "Las Ramblas" La Rambla dels Estudis 109. From here your guide will lead you to Barcelona's most famous street, Las Ramblas. It is the most popular place in the city, a straight pedestrian thoroughfare, planted with plane trees and crossed day and night by a constant stream of passers-by. The atmosphere here is unique, with its cages full of birds, its tapas bars and little local restaurants with hams hanging above the bar.
Built on a site where an open-air market has existed since the 13th century, just off of la Rambla street, the world-famous Boqueria market is surely Barcelona's greatest food market. You will enjoy an incredible contrast between colours and activity, ideal to discover why Mediterranean cuisine is internationally known due to its ingredients. The best products from Catalonia in one place.
En route to the gothic quarter we will stop a buzzing Mediterranean brasserie with a wide-ranging menu and an excellent selection of tapas. Set on a bustling street in the heart of old Barcelona near the gothic cathedral, an ideal spot to take a break in your trip along the gothic quarter. Here 4 tasty montaditos (tapas) and two glasses of wine or beer will be waiting for you.
