Emphasis will be put on perception and observation, as the bases to painting. I will help you develop your personal outlook, as well as inspire your imagination in all this magical places and to help you appreciate art to the full. We will paint 4 hours every morning. You may work on sketches for the first few days, and than proceed to more accomplished works derived from these last. Or you may simply paint two or three works a day. If for some reason, you want to wonder and explore the territory during these days, you are pleased to do so. In the evenings we will discuss the work done during the day and see numerous slides of contemporary and modern art. Color theory lessons. An evening art appreciation course. Many excursions... Art class is opend to participants of all ages and levels from beginners to advanced.
You will live in a villa from year 1820, Villa Flora owned by Tjasa Iris in the Precoastal Wine Country of Slovenia, near Italian border. The villa is full of ancient atmospheres. Furnished with antique Slovenian furniture, antiques and lots of art by Tjasa Iris. You will also learn A LOT about culture, art, history, gastronomy and wine of Slovenia, the country that you will be visiting. Tjasa Iris is holding painting workshops in Italy, France and Slovenia since 1996.
