Itinerary

Day 1

Arriving Belgrade,transfer to hotel and lunch. City tour. Welcoming dinner in a local restaurant in bohemian quarter Skadarlija, national food, with music performance.
Overnight.

Day 2

After breakfast drive to Novi Sad, the capital of Vojvodina Province.
Drive to Monasteries Krusedol and Grgeteg,16th century, on the slopes of Fruska Gora Mt. Rustic lunch in farm household “Perkov salas”. Wine tasting in two wine cellars in Sremski Karlovci, the center of orthodox spirituality, famous for wine producers. Short sightseeing of Novi Sad. Hotel accommodation, Dinner in famous farm Salas 137, turned into tourist attraction, tamburitza music,. Overnight.

Day 3

Drive to Valjevo with short brake in Kaona,Monastery picturesque spiritual
nest, healling water refreshment. Jeep transportation to the Celije Monastery and the Gradac canyon. Rustic lunch at the river bank. Short walk by foot, bike or horse riding and jeep drive to the mountain cottage Magles. Accommodation and organic dinner by fireplace, gypsy music. Overnight.

Day 4

After morning coffee and breakfast, jeep drive up to the peak of Mt Medvednik, open art exhibition with remarkable breathtaking view to surrounding Mountain Povlen /1350 m above sea level/. River Drina and Tresnjica Canyon exploration, taking photos of the unique white eagle. Tornicka Bobija Mt.peak /1272 m/ lunch with delicious organic food. Accommodation in Village Gornje Koslje in rural farm households owned by local hosts/2-3 rooms in each household/. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 5

After breakfast melt with the foggy-cloudy panorama of the mountain peaks, jeep/bike drive through the Tresnjica Canyon to Bajina Basta. Drive through thick woods of Mt.Tara, train ride by “Sargan eight”, the only narrow railroad in Europe. Visit to the ”Wooden Town” Mecavnik, ethno-town owned by famous film producer Emir Kusturica in the National Park Tara. Lunch. Accommodation in “Old ethno Village Sirogojno”, rural serbian-old architecture settlement, handcrafts exhibition. Trumpet welcome and organic rustic dinner prepared in clay dishes. Overnight

Day 6

After brakfast drive to Nova Varos and one houre boat ride by Zlatar lake and
Uvac River. Rustic lunch in the mountain cottage on “Griffon cliff” with breathtaking
view to impressive Uvac meanders. Drive to magnificent mountain peaks of Kamena Gora
village natural reservation and air spa at 1250m. Accommodation in the mountain lodges and
dinner by the fireplace with local highlanders. Overnight.

Day 7

After breakfast, drive by bus and visit to monastery Kumanica, the starting point of rafting on river Lim, that ends next to Davidovica monastery. After visit, lunch on the river bank and departure to Montenegro. Late arrival to Kolasin. Accommodation, dinner, overnight.

Day 8

After breakfast drive by bus to the National Park Durmitor - Zabljak. Lunch in mountain restaurant on the magic Black lake. 3,5 hours jeep safari through the wild Susisa Canyon, drive by Scepan Polje point to the Grab Camp. Accommodation in Mountain cottages. Rustic dinner by the fire place /lamb cooked in milk, Montenegrin smoked ham, goat cheese.../ Overnight.

Day 9

After breakfast river Tara rafting up to 18km or shorter /depending on the weather conditions/ with most exclusive and secure equipment. Drive to the Piva Lake,1 h boat ride tour. Fish specialties lunch. Drive to Cetinje, tour to the old part of the town. Drive to Becici, famous sea resort and accommodation in hotel. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 10

After breakfast short visit to Budva and St.Stefan, most famous Montenegro tourist centers, short walk and free time. Drive to Kotor, town-museum, sightseeing of the walls surrounding the medieval town, Cathedral of St.Tryphon and sights under the UNESCO protection. Lunch in restaurant-fish and national specialties served. Becici hotel accommodation, farewell diner with program. Overnight.

Day 11

After breakfast, free time at leisure and departure for Dubrovnik. End of program.
