Day 1

ROUTING: BUCHAREST - SINAIA
- Your English-speaking specialist guide will pick you up from your location in Bucharest (Hotel, Airport, etc...)
- We will then depart for Sinaia, the entry point to the Carpathian Mountains
- Sinaia is one of Romania's most important mountain resort towns. Known as the "Pearl of the Carpathians" for its breathtaking natural surroundings
- You will have the first evening on your own to experience the town's many unique and traditional bars and restaurants.
- Overnight in Sinaia

Day 2

ROUTING: SINAIA - BRAN - BRASOV
- Breakfast in hotel
- This morning you will enjoy an intensive tour of Peles Palace; a stunning Renaissance style palace built by royalty in 1878, inside it contains an impressive collection of medieval arms
- After the tour take the cable car to the top of the local mountain and enjoy lunch in the restaurant
- Depart for Bran
- Tour of Bran Castle; the fictional "Dracula Castle"
- Ending the day in the Medieval Town of Brasov; one of the most historical towns of Transylvania and the most visited in Romania
- Dinner and Overnight in Brasov

Day 3

ROUTING: BRASOV - SIGHISOARA
- Breakfast in hotel
- Morning tour of Brasov; see the towns Black Church, Defensive walls and take a stroll down Piata Sfatului ending the tour on Mount Tampa and enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the city
- Lunch and free time
- In the afternoon we will depart for Sighisoara; the birthplace of Dracula
- Dinner and overnight in Sighisoara

Day 4

ROUTING: SIGHISOARA - SIBIU
- Breakfast in hotel
- Morning tour of Sighisoara; visit of the citadel and its clock tower
- For lunch you will enjoy a traditional Romanian meal in the restaurant that was the house where Dracula was born
- In the afternoon we will depart for Sibiu; one of the most impressive fortified towns in Romania voted the "European Capital of Culture" in 2007, together with Luxemburg.
- Dinner and overnight in Sibiu

Day 5

ROUTING: SIBIU - TARGOVISTE
- Breakfast in hotel
- Morning tour of Sibiu and its old town
- Lunch and free time
- In the afternoon we will depart for Targoviste; home to Vlad Tepes' real palace
- Dinner and overnight in Targoviste

Day 6

ROUTING: TARGOVISTE - PLOIESTI - MANGALIA (BLACK SEA)
- Breakfast in hotel
- Morning tour of Targoviste and Princely Court
- Depart for Mangalia, en route a short visit of Ploiesti, the centre of the Romanian oil industry.
- Lunch in Ploiesti or en route
- Dinner and free time in Mangalia
- Overnight on the Black Sea

Day 7

ROUTING: MANGALIA - CONSTANTA - MANGALIA (BLACK SEA)
- Breakfast in hotel
- Visit the Stute Farm in Mangalia
- Constanta: tour of the city, including the Archaeological Museum with the biggest Roman mosaic discovered so far (2000 sqm), the ancient port and the Great Mosque. Walk on the seaside, where the Genovan Lighthouse is placed, the Casino, where a restaurant functions, and the Aquarium, which can be visited, if there is interest (optional).
- Lunch in Constanta and free time in Constanta
- Return to Mangalia
- Dinner and free time in Mangalia
- Overnight on the Black Sea

Day 8

ROUTING: MANGALIA - CONSTANTA - MANGALIA (BLACK SEA)
- Breakfast in hotel
- depart for Histria, the Romanian Pompei. Visiting the ruins of the Ancient city of Histria.
- Further to Herakleea, a second ancient city, that nicely overlooks the surrounding plains and lagoons.
- On our way, we shall have the opportunity to see many birds that come from the neighbouring Danube Delta, especially pelicans
- Lunch. Some free time in Constanta.
- Wine tasting and dinner in Murfatlar in the evening.
- Return to Mangalia
- Dinner and free time in Mangalia
- Overnight on the Black Sea

Day 9

ROUTING: MANGALIA (BLACK SEA)
- You will have these days free to spend to relax on the beach, in the local spa and health resort, and enjoy the local bar and restaurant scene

On this tour you will discover historic medieval towns in Transylvania, most relating to Vlad Tepes aka Dracula. Starting off in Sinaia with its breathtaking mountain scenery and magnificent Palace of Peles. Then we will continue on our trail of Dracula and visit Bran Castle, often referred to as Dracula's Castle. After the historic capital of Transylvania, Brasov. Next on to Sighisoara, the birthplace of Dracula and one of the only still inhabited medieval citadels in Europe. Then accross to Sibiu, another historic gem of Transylvania. On our journey you will be staying in some of the most well preserved medieval towns in Europe; such as Brasov, Sighisoara, Sibiu and Targoviste.
Mangalia Beach - Romania Tours

After we will then head down to the Black Sea coast where you will have the remainder of your vacation relaxing on the beach, taking in the spa facilities, and enjoying the nightlife. During this time you will also get a chance to taste the sweet wine of Murfatlar, which is one of the highest producing wineries in Romania.
