Itinerary

Day 1

CITY EXPERIANCE
Sightseeing of Cracow as a city: Market Square, Royal Route, Wawel Castle (Cathedral, Courtyard-main square), Jagiellonian University The former Jewish district of Kazimierz - with its synagogues and praying houses. We shall visit Remuh Synagogue and cemetery - it is the oldest, the smallest though the most renowned synagogue in the world and the only still active place of worship for Cracow's Jews. Furthermore we will enter the Tempel synagogue which is the newest and moorish adorned - every year it hosts artists performing concerts for Jewish Culture Festival. The next step is Kupa synagogue with its rich painting decorations. Wandering along the streets of Kazimierz, you can experience through the eyes of your imagination the lost world of Hassids, Tzaddiks, and rabbis.It is also possible to include into the sightseeing program a horse-drawn carriage ride which will take your spirit into the old days. It is not offered by any other guide and is certainly worth experiencing.
