Pass fancy mansions when you follow the river ‘Kromme Rijn' from Utrecht to the borough of Wijk bij Duurstede. Explore this city, established in the middle ages.

In the small attractive town of Buren you discover the connection with the Dutch Royal family. On bikes we follow the dike, with great views of the river Waal to reach a friendly Bed & Breakfast.

Day 2

> Canoe excursion over the Linge
> Ammersoyen Castle The next morning you start actively. By canoe on the river Linge, you actively enjoy the landscape of fruit orchards, birdlife and old characteristic houses. In the borough of Culemborg, you will retrieve your energy during lunch.

Discover sculptures in gutters at Zaltbommel or a visit the medieval museum of Maarten van Rossum. Ghosts welcome you at the impressive 14th century Castle Ammersoyen. History becomes alive.
