Itinerary

Day 1

SKOPJE. Arrival at Skopje. Transfer to your hotel. Short introductory tour of hotels vicinities - getting useful hints from your tour guide. Sightseeing tour; Visit to the old Train station; The monument of Mother Teresa; The house of Mother Teresa; The Stone Bridge, The Fortress Kale, the Ottoman-era Old Town (Stara Charshija), Turkish mosques (Mustafa pashina, Sultan-Muratova and Gazi isa-Begova ), Turkish bath (Daut Pashin Amam) and (Kapan An, Suli An and Kurshumli An). Visiting Matka. Dinner in local restaurant with folklore music.(Optional) Overnight in Skopje.

Day 2

SKOPJE-TETOVO:STRUGA:OHRID. Breakfast in the hotel. Traveling to Tetovo. Visiting Turkish mosque Arabati Baba Teke (monument protect by UNESCO). Traveling to visit St. Jovan Bigorski. Visiting Struga and the Turkish mosque Halveti Teke . Traveling to Ohrid. Arriving in hotel. Overnight in Ohrid.

Day 3

OHRID. Morning sightseeing tour - Tour starts before the monument of St. Cyril and Methodius, and it continues to the Lower gate, City museum, church St. Sofia, Antic theater, Upper gate, church St. Virgin Mary, Perivleptos, The Gallery of effigies, Samoils fortress, Plaoshnik, and tour ends with a walk thru Ohrid's market-place. Overnight in Ohrid.

Day 4

OHRID - BITOLA : SKOPJE. Traveling to Bitola. City tour in the morning, incl. visit the Antic city Heraclea which is located near the city Bitola, in the pedestal of Baba mountain, and it was built in the middle centre of the IV century B.C., and with it's beauty and charm testifies of the persistence and superiority through time. Sightseeing of the town - the main street “Sirok Sokak”, the Old Bazaar, Jeni Mosque and Isak Chelabi mosque. We should not forget to visit the military high school “Kemal Ataturk” creator of the modern Turkey.
Overnight in Skopje.

DEPARTURE FROM SKOPJE AIRPORT

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
  • If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
  • Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
