Itinerary

Day 1

The drivers are from the Latvian National Bobsleigh team and they have the 'Need-for-Speed'. They will run you off the edge and down a thrilling Olympic-standard track. Prepare to hurtle down the track at over 100 km/h for a 1-minute ride that will simply blow you away!! As you hit the last corner named ''The Wall'', for obvious reasons, you can hit up to 7G!! Track and sled specs: Track length 1420 metres Winter bobsled speed: over 110Km/h � hit 4-5 G! Cushioned bob speed: 70 Km/h Summer bob speed: 70Km/h Fastest Out There Track time: 46.6 seconds ***Please note, some service providers operating in Riga offer bobsleighing at cheaper rates during the Winter � they do not offer the Olympic bobsleigh. Instead they use the soft bobs � not the real thing!! Out-There Bobsleigh Adventure lets you experience both!

Transfers, 1 run on the Olympic bob (110Km/h) and 1 run on the Soft Bob (70Km/h) along with the guidance and support of an English-speaking guide is included in the price.

Requirements:

Suitable safety equipment will be provided for the activity but please make sure that you are wearing suitable footwear (no sandals or flip flops).

During the winter months - it is very important that you wrap up warm as the temperature can drop below minus 20 degrees Celsius!

This extreme activity is not suitable for people who: - are heavier than 120kg - have problems with back or neck - have a history of heart problems - are pregnant! It would certainly be an interesting situation to go in to labour at 110Km/h!
