Itinerary
Day 1
Dublin to Galway
Walk in the footsteps of ancient Kings at The Hill of Tara before immersing yourself in Ireland's historic past at the impressive Trim Castle - a twelfth century Anglo Norman fortress which some would say was where the Troubles all began .... back then. Now it's time to cleanse your soul at Clonmacnoise, an ancient monastic city on the shores of the Shannon before we hit the City of the Tribes : Galway. Over night Galway
Day 2
Inis Mor Day (Aran Islands)
We spend a whole day on Inis Mor : the largest of the Aran Islands and made famous by Father Ted! Inis Mor (only 9 miles long by 2 miles wide or 10 by 3 depending on who you talk to!) has over 3000 miles of stone walls! The locals here are fluent Gaelic speakers and you'll be free to explore the island at your leisure. You can hike around the island or even better fun - explore the island by bike! You can't miss the awe-inspiring fortress of Dun Aonghasa : a 3000 year old ring fort perched on the edge of a 300 foot cliff. After a breath taking day it's time to head back to the main land for a pint of Guinness and a fun filled night. Overnight Galway
Day 3
Galway to Dublin
Spend a free morning exploring the City of the Tribes with its fascinating history. Take a stroll down by the River Corrib or check out the Spanish Arch. So much to do before you head back to the Fair City of Dublin where our journey ends.
