Visit famous wine region in Eger, not only winetasting but a bit of history, as we are visiting castles around!
Itinerary
Day 1
Join our tour to visit one of the most famous wine region of Hungary. We are going to visit castle of Sirok before arriving to Eger. In Eger we climb up to the top of fortress of Eger, see the museum and casamates, take a short walk in the beautiful downtown, see the turkish minaret, the basilica. We are heading to one of the most famous wine cellar in eger region in Noszvaj. We take a horse cart there to discover the village, the local Dela Motte castle and visit famous Thummerer's cellar. Where we are going to taste few type of wines, take a walktour into the cellar , and eat fine dishes before we are heading back to Budapest
