Itinerary
Day 1
Drive through Levadia and the picturesque village of Arachova to Delphi. Visit the Museum and the Archaeological Site. Depart for Kalambaka, Dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Visit Meteora and its Byzantine monasteries. After that drive to Amphissa, Lamia, Trikala, visit the Archaeological Site of Dion. Admire the Mount Olympus, home of the Greek Gods. Dinner and overnight at the town of Naoussa.
Day 3
Depart for the town of Kastoria, famous for its fur industry and its beautiful prehistoric lake. Afterwards proceed to the town of Edessa, you can drink a coffee next to the Waterfall and Landmark. Return to Naoussa for dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Depart for Pella, the Ancient capital of Macedonia.Continue to Vergina to visit the tomb of the King Phillip,father of Alexander the Great, and the famous Vergina Treasures. After the visit, depart for the second largest city in Greece, Thessalonica. Time to visit the city and the Archaeological Museum. Return to Naoussa. Dinner and Overnight.
Day 5
Start the return drive to Athens through the Valley of Tempi, Lamia, Thermopylae and Kammena Vourla.
