This tour gives you the opportunity to combine the city's classical and modern sights. You will see the center of the city and the striking contrasts that makes Athens such a wonderful city. The guides will narrate and give you an overview of the history of Athens on your way to the Acropolis. You will pass through the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on the Constitution Square in front of the Parliament house and you will make a short stop at the Panathenaicon Stadium, which was where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896. Driving along Panepistimiou Avenue, you will see the Academy, University, the National Library and view the St. Denis Roman Catholic Cathedral. You will also visit the Roman Temple of Olympic Zeus. On the Acropolis, visit the Prolylaea, the Temple of Athens Nike, the Erechtheion and last but not least the fascinating Parthenon. The tour also includes a visit to the Acropolis Museum.
