Drive along the Saronic Gulf to the Corinth Canal (short stop), proceed to Mycenae and visit the city rich in gold, including the tomb of Agamemnon, the Lion's Gate, the Cyclopean Walls, the Royal tombs etc. Then depart through Argolis on to Nauplion, which was once the capital of Greece. After lunch visit Epidaurus and the Theatre , famous for its magnificent acoustics. Finally, return to Athens via the National Road connecting Epidaurus with Corinth.
