Itinerary
Day 1
Begin by a panoramic tour of Orange city full of Roman monuments : Triumphal Arch, Antic theatre (entrance included with audioguide)wich is one of the best preserved of that period.Go on to Châteauneuf du Pape for a sightseeing in the vineyards and a wine tasting in a cellar.Continue to discover St Rémy de Provence, a famous and picturesque village near Alpilles mountains where you could look at the Roman monuments.Stop and visit of Les Baux de Provence, a medieval village on a rocky spur.Finish your tour in Arles for a walking tour of the Roman City (arenas, Antic Theatre)and have a look at the main places painted by Van Gogh during his stay in 1888-89.
