Itinerary
Day 1
Your guide meets you at the vistitor centre of Soomaa National Park. First you will be introduced about values of Soomaa by watching a video-film. After that continue to remote Karuskose farm, in the middle of the national park. Very characteristic and special to this area of regular floods, is the building and use of traditional log-boats (haabjas). During the fifth season" of Soomaa - season of high waters," the haabjas have been the only mode of transportation. We will look how such boats are made and go for a short bog-walking to Kuresoo bog.
A wilderness lunch. After lunch we will have a canoeing on the Raudna river.
In the afternoon on to your next destination.
