One week of canyoning, rafting, sea kayaking & snorkeling, trekking, and rock climbing will make your holiday in Croatia unique and unforgettable.
Itinerary
Day 1
Airport Split â SestanovacTransfer from the airport to village Sestanovac.The accommodation in the vicinity of Sestanovac is designed for 20 persons and it has an outdoor and indoor dining room, a kitchen, a living room, a grill, a swimming pool and a large terrace.

Day 2
Trekking
The morning begins with a short drive to canyon of river Cetina , from where we will observe the deepest point of canyon and highest waterfall in Dalmatia, called Velika Gubavica (55 meters). After that we continue the walk through field and dry part of canyon until we reach the viewpoint on mountains, sea and islands. The trail takes us along the old walking pathways that were used to be the only connection with the sea for the local habitats. We will also visit an old abandoned village and get to know with former way of life in this area. The guide will also inform you about the history of the surrounding area and about activities that are waiting for you.

Day 3
Sestanovac â Pensici, Rafting
Today is the day when you truly encounter the river Cetina by going down in dinghies through the unique landscape created by river, surrounded by cliffs and luxuriant vegetation. After taking your equipment and listening to the guide's instructions you get into your dinghies and master the rapids of the second and the third degree on your way to the village Blato na Cetini. Rapids and still parts of the river take turns during the three-hour adventure. After we take of our wet clothes, we have barbecue on a meadow near the river.

Day 4
(Free day): Optional tours: trip to Omis or Rock climbing
Climbing a real rock near Sestanovac for the experienced ones or a climbing school for those without experience. Beside climbing you can choose a trip to the old pirate port Omis, a small town situated on the mouth of the river Cetina with ancient fort still rising above it. Beside the historical sights, there are many bars and restaurants in Omis, as well as a big sandy beach.

Day 5
Sestanovac â Zadvarje, Canyoning
We are back on the river Cetina. The most inaccessible, but also the most beautiful part of the river canyon is near the village Zadvarje, not far from Sestanovac. After we descend into the 170m deep canyon, we swim, walk and visit the 55 meters high waterfall called Gubavica. We go down the river accompanied by the roar of the water which formed its bed throughout thousands of years, creating waterfalls and crystal clear lakes where we swim. After the trip the lunch is organized in the local tavern.

Day 6
(Free day) : Optional tour: trip to Trogir
On this day you can relax in Sestanovac and in its surroundings, rent bikes or go on a trip to Trogir. The rich history of Trogir started in the 3rd century B.C. Old houses made of stone in the city centre, the tower Kamerlengo from the 15th century or master Radovan's portal are some of the sights you can visit. You can have coffee or lunch in numerous bars and restaurants in the city centre.

Day 7
Sestanovac â Brela , Sea kayaking
In the morning we go to Brela, a town on the Makarska riviera. After you get your equipment and hop into your kayaks, we row to the beaches on the part of the coast known as Vrulja. Vrulja is famous for its underground river source which flows from the mountain Biokovo to the sea. We visit the source and the nearby caves and then go on the beach where we can swim and snorkel.

Day 8
Sestanovac â Airport Split
Transfer from Å estanovac to the airport.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
