Dubrovnik is still home to one of the oldest synagogues in Europe. This walking tour provides a fascinating insight into the many ups and downs in Jewish life in Dubrovnik.

Itinerary

Day 1

Your driver and a private professional guide will pick you up in front of your cruise ship or hotel and take you to Dubrovnik Old Town, where you will visit the oldest Sephardic synagogue in the World. The synagogue was built in Baroque style in the 14th century. It is located on the second floor, on the steep, narrow alley named Zudioska Ulica (Jews Street). This tour provides an opportunity to understand Jewish life in Dubrovnik and how it has changed throughout history. After the tour you will be returned to your cruise ship or accommodation.
