Itinerary

Day 1

Located in a deep and shady valley, build over the ruins of an Ancient Thracian sanctuary (VI century BC).
In the beginning of the XVII century, a tomb (turbe) of the Alian saint Demir Baba was built on the same spot. It is a monumental heptagonal vaulted building with an antechamber and entrance on the eastern side.

The place is still used by the Alian Muslims for practicing different religious rituals and offering sacrifices!
