| Day 1 - We welcome you with a light breakfast whilst sailing out of Panama City or Contadora. Under sail in the direction of Isla del Rey dolphins often escort us and small migratory birds rest on the deck. We will have lunch under sail. After anchoring at Espirítu Santo there will be ample time to explore the estuaries and local fishing village before we have dinner. Fresh lobsters and oysters are available in the village. | | Day 2 - We start the day with an earlybird breakfast after which we go out for an early morning bush walk. We will be back for brunch. After brunch we head up the Mosquito River where we will be welcomed by the pelicans at the river mouth, Jesus Christ lizards run across the water, lazy iguana’s bake in the sun on the river banks and sand pipers, tiger herrons, ibis and hummingbirds are just some of the birds which can be spotted at this pristine mangrove river system. Half way we stop for a swim at a waterfall coming from the hills into this tidal river. We return around dusk to relax on the boat, troll for some Sierra or Tuna with the dinghy or canoe the small islands around the bay while the sun sets over the Pacific. | | Day 3 - After breakfast we depart for Isla Toboga or Contadora . We will have lunch under sail to arrive at one of toboga’s beaches or at isla Bartolomé a jewel just north of Isla Contadora. There will be time for snorkelling or an island walk. On our final leg of the trip we will serve snacks and cocktails before reaching Contadora or Panama City. |
