Itinerary
Day 1
4wd taxi from Jimenez to Rincon River, hike across river to Los Patos Ranger station. Explore the area with your guide, first night camping.
Day 2
Hike 18 kilometers through Jungle to Sirena ranger station, the jewel of Corcovado. Two nights camping or dorm rooms. Here you can normally view tapirs, monkeys, many other mammals, birds, sometimes pumas or other cats. Canoe on the Sirena river at high tide to view the bull sharks swimming up river. At low tide view the crocodiles basking on the bank. Take a hike to the beach at night to see turtles laying eggs.

Day 4
Hike 17 kilometers to Carate through tropical rainforest and on pristine beaches. Involves crossing rivers at low tide to avoid crocodiles and sharks. 4wd taxi back to Jimenez.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
