Day 1

SAIGON ARRIVAL

Arrive in Saigon - the busiest city of Vietnam. Meet your guide at the international airport of Ho Chi Minh city. Transfer to hotel for check in. Free at leisure.

Note: Lunch & dinner will be on your own arrangement. Our tour guide will recommend you the best restaurants in town if required.

Day 2

CITY TOUR OF SAIGON / CU CHI TUNNELS (B)

Breakfast at hotel

Our tour includes Reunification Hall – former Presidential Palace where the famous Australian new reporters David Neels used to take a historical picture of the Communist tank that hit the gate of the Palace to end Viet Nam war in 1975. Visit history museum where you can see how Viet Nam develops the country. Photo stop at the Notre Dame Cathedral & Central Post Office where you see two old maps of the city and you can buy some postcards for your friends & family. Drive to China town, visit Binh Tay market – the whole sales market of the Chinese community. Visit Lady temple dedicated to the Sea Goddess – namely Thien Hau. On the way, stop at lacquer ware workshop where you can learn the art of making lacquer.

PM: drive to Cu chi tunnels. Watch the film and visit the tunnels. Return to Saigon.

Day 3

MEKONG DELTA - FLOATING MARKET (B,L)

Breakfast at hotel. Leave Ho Chi Minh city for Mekong Delta. Stop on the halfway to enjoy the coffe shops along the highway, a daily life routine of Vietnamese. Upon arrival, take a private wooden boat trip to visit the floating market, rice paper making house, coconut candy workshop, pop corn workshop. Visit old house and walk around its garden & orchards. Taste the seasonal tropical fruits. Lunch is set at a local restaurant with local specialties. Return to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon

Day 4

SAIGON / DANANG / HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for your flight to Danang city. On arrival at Danang, you will meet your guide at the exit lounge then take a visit to Cham museum, Marble Mountain. Drive to Hoi an. Check into hotel. Take a walking tour to visit old houses of Hoi An ancient town with Japanese cover-bridge, museums, temples, etc…

Day 5

HOI AN / DANANG / HUE (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Check out & leave for Hue imperial city. Upon arrival, visit Royal Palace, Dong Ba market & take a Pedi-cab ride around the city.

Overnight in Hue.

Day 6

HUE (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Today, you will discover the last dynasty of Vietnam by taking a boat trip on Perfume river to visit Thien Mu pagoda. Visit the Mausoleum of Nguyen dynasty such as Minh Mang, Tu Duc tombs.

Overnight in Hue.

Day 7

HUE / HANOI (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Leave Hue for flighting to Hanoi - the capital of Vietnam. Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport, transfer to hotel for check in. Visit Vietnam's greatest hero, President Ho Chi Minh, photo stop at his mausoleum, and visit his simple stilted house, the One Pillar Pagoda. You'll then continue to the Confucian Temple of Literature, site of the first university in Vietnam. It is a serene and beautiful place in the midst of this bustling city. Visit 36 Old street of the ancient quarter of Hanoi by trishaw. Enjoy the water puppet show at Thang Long theater.

Day 8

HANOI / HALONG (B,L,D)

Breakfast at hotel
Transfer to Halong Bay – World Cultural Heritage Site. Over three thousand jagged limestone islands emerge from the emerald green waters of Halong Bay. While some islands are no more than large rocks other are much more substantial and contain huge cathedral – like caves of stalactites & stalagmites. Most of the islands are clothed in thick green vegetation and ring with the sound of bird songs in the early morning. Secluded sandy coves are everywhere and in the summer months the warm waters of the bay are ideals for swimming. Upon arrival, embark the boat. Sights – seeing around the bay & Swimming. Lunch & dinner onboard the junk with fresh seafood
Note: you will have the private junk if the group is more than 10 persons. If not, you will join the public one. Then, you will share the junk with others. Overnight onboard the Junk.

Day 9

HALONG / HANOI (B,L)

Breakfast at hotel
Continue to cruise on the bay. Lunch onboard before disembarkation. Transfer back to Hanoi. Check into hotel and relax.

Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 10

HANOI / DEPARTURE (B)

Breakfast at hotel
Free until transfer to the international airport of Hanoi for departure. Tour ends.
