Itinerary

Day 1

SAIGON – BEN TRE BIKKING – HOMESTAY in Phu Tuc (-/L/D)
In the morning, the private car and tour guide will pick up you from your hotel to depart Saigon for the two hours drive to Ben Tre.
After crossing the Tien Giang River by Rach Mieu bridge, start 15km cycling at Ba Lai through scenic tropical orchards and coconut groves. En route stops to taste exotic fruits and visit local people.
On arrival in Ben Tre town, cross Ben Tre's old wood bridge for cycling further 20 km around Phu Nhuan village to discover the peaceful waterways, serene gardens and emerald rice-fields.
Enjoy lunch at local house with local specialties.
After lunch, get on your boat to cruise along the small canals and return to the center of Ben Tre town, where your car is waiting to take you to Phu Tuc. You will spend your night with local family here.
The dinner prepared by local family is ready after your refreshment. Overnight home stay in Phu Tuc.

Day 2

BEN TRE – CAI BE - CAN THO (B/L/-)
After breakfast, we say goodbye to the local family and leave for Cai Be.
We get on boat for a visit to Cai Be floating market upon arrival and cruise over the mighty Mekong river (~ 1.5km wide) to islands in the middle of Mekong river branches. We start cycling ~ 12km under the green canopy; explore the orchards and daily life of farmers. These islands include 4 communes: DongPhu, HoaNinh, AnBinh and BinhHoaPhuoc, great cycling route through these communes and see different kinds of trees. Lunch break at Le Longanier, a superb Indochinese villa located in a lush tropical garden by the river, surrounded by fruit orchards.
After a short walk along a beautiful canal, the excursion will end at at Ba Bon Bridge where your car is waiting to bring you to Can Tho.
Check-in hotel upon arrival and free at leisure to explore the town and your own dinner.
Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 3

CAN THO – SAIGON (B/-/-)
After breakfast, we take a visit to Cai Rang floating market; actually still the largest in the whole Mekong delta.
We will pass by countless sampan boats carrying sand, rice, fruits and vegetables, fish, flowers… showing an intense activity on the river.
After that, enjoy 2 more hours biking on back country roads with beautiful Delta scenery and friendly locals.
Back on your car to return to Saigon. Arrive at your hotel in Saigon late afternoon.
End of services.
